i have a mixer for my band (drum mics etc) and have no idea how to use it and i only no in goes in and out goes out. please can somone give me a crash-course on what everything does etc. and how to connect it to an amp?

Answer by Row B well basically you need to plug everything into the XLR ports at the top of the mixer. then if you think each xlr input shur have buttons and knobs under neither it. follow that down the fader which when u push up noise should come out the other end.

Answer by … Everytime it speeds up, I expect a bang or something, but all I get are fast beats for a while, then finally an addition of beats. You should skip the prolonged fast beats, replace that with a bang, then add the new beats. Do I make sense?
I mean, because the beats continue on as the beat switches up, so keep the beats, but for that period before the beat switch up, instead of the beats, take a break by adding a bang.
Wait a second, there were no beats that made me expect there should be a bang. For some reason, I was listening to your track twice at the same time, so it made the song sound different.
I love the transition around 1:20 and 2:25, don’t change that!

Artists or DJs! I am constantly craving some better GOA trance. It’s a genre I just don’t know much about but I LOVE it! I know it sorta evolved into PSY (like Infected Mushroom or Juno Reactor) but I really like the more Middle Eastern(ish) sounding stuff. I write songs and most of the time I never get the melody recorded so I eventually forget them and all I end up with are stacks of lyrics without sound. I have always wanted to record my songs with instrumentation so that way my friends can hear what I hear in my head. I am not able to play the guitar due to physical incapability, so I cannot record with the instrumentation I hear in my head. My question is, does anyone know of any free software from the internet that will allow me to record my voice and has virtual instruments that will allow me to eventually write a song that I can listen to? I have googled the topic and found many options, but I don’t want to download something that will give me viruses or that I am not sure that will work.
