I really want to get more into hard trance, so what are some good artists to listen to?

After hearing and loving Tiesto’s trance remix of “Adagio for Strings”, I was inspired to do my own remix of a classical song like it. Does anyone know of a song that could be just as good as Tiesto’s?
I like the Edward Scissorhands soundtack, but it isn’t in public domain, and it is too complicated. If you listen to Tiesto’s song, you’ll see what I mean; it’s very simple.
I like the “Moonlight Sonata” for this, but many people have done a remix of it.
