Synth players. What is a better synthesizer, The Korg microkorg or the Alesis micron.?

I’m looking to buy a mini synthesizer and don’t have a ton of money to spend. Both the microkorg and Alesis micron are in my price range. I’m leaning toward the korg because i like the way the controls are layed out. I haven’t tried either yet. has anyone tried both and if so what synth do you think is better.

For a KORG O1/W Pro Synthesizer, how do I use it as a slave to external keyboard?

I want the external keyboard to “play” the sounds in the KORG into my Hi Fi. I can do this only for the first combination (A00) in COMBI mode after switching to Sequencer mode, but I don’t know how to get it to use any other combination (such as A51) or program sounds. Anyone know how to do that?
